An executive chef ponders the meaning of "foodie"

Dave Booth, executive chef at Yellow Umbrella Fresh Seafood in Richmond, Va., said he considers a foodie someone who understands "the big picture when it comes to food." The CIA graduate said a foodie "recognizes and appreciates the passion that others have for what they do -- be it the farmer, the fish monger or the gourmet chef."
