New Xeon server from Intel winning new friends

Intel's new Xeon server processors are winning praise from such companies as DreamWorks and BMW. Film studio DreamWorks said the E5-2600 processor has helped it increase its animation rendering speed by 35%. BMW uses the high-performance chip for crash simulations and in-car services such as maps and traffic data. The processor is also helping companies increase bandwidth, some by 150%.
