N.Y. engineering students grab bridge design title for 14 straight years

Students at Colonie Central High School in Albany, N.Y., have won the annual Capital District Engineer's Week bridge-building competition -- sponsored by the Capital District Chapter of ASCE -- for the 14th consecutive year. "It's really to get students involved and to look for a career in civil engineering," said Chris Lesher, a structural engineer with Ryan-Biggs Associates. "The goal is get them excited about technology."
