Gifted-education specialist Tamara Fisher in this blog post writes about the particular moments with students when she is able to gain valuable insight into their thoughts and perspectives. One such moment occurred when a student welcomed being given increasingly difficult spelling words, requiring her to work harder to earn a perfect score on a test. "Well, I'm still usually getting 100%'s, but I have to work for them now," the student said.
