Construction expected to start on $3 billion American Dream mall

Work on the delayed $3 billion American Dream mall in New Jersey is expected to resume by the end of the month and should be finished in 18 to 24 months. The American Dream Meadowlands project, which has been stalled for years because of "financial troubles, a foreclosure and an ownership change," is expected to create 9,000 construction jobs. The mall will have a theme park, indoor ski park and 300 retail stores.
