Developers will have to make some minor adjustments to take advantage of Facebook's changes to its news feed, Jolie O'Dell writes. Images should be at least 600 by 600 pixels, as imagery is more prominent in the redesign, but APIs will not change. Neither will EdgeRank, John Koetsier writes, meaning advertisers don't have to worry about another new algorithm, though brands should be concerned about expanded user choice of feeds limiting exposure to ads. Facebook Vice President of Product Chris Cox says the tension between users complaining about too many sponsored posts and brands is "irreconcilable."
