Designer and home décor gift company Creative Co-Op is at the whim of seasonal changes and must quickly sell off-season merchandise to make room for the new. To help boost sales as product cycles change, the company adopted an automated e-mail campaign that used previous purchases to tailor coupons to independent retailers for repeat-purchase discounts on items that needed to be sold off. The tailored campaign created an 808% ROI, 42% increase in order conversations and 255% increase in online sales of closeout items.
