NASCAR has seen online engagement grow thanks to social media activity, with Twitter proving particularly well-suited to allowing interactions between racers and fans, Bob Margolis writes. Sean Doherty, director of digital and social media engagement, says the franchise is just getting started on social media. "There are still a lot of fans who are not active on various social platforms and a lot of potential fans who aren't yet interacting with us," Doherty says.
