Redesigned Olive Garden logo faces criticism

Olive Garden this week announced a "brand renaissance" led by a new logo, but the design is being heavily criticized by analysts and social media commentators. The chain, which will also introduce smaller plates and remodeled restaurants, is trying to revive slumping sales and customer traffic. "The new logo looks like the homework assignment of a teacher's pet in second grade," writes Slate's L.V. Anderson.
