A Texas school district is promoting healthy morning meals this week as part of its celebration of the School Nutrition Association's National School Breakfast Week. "It is important that children receive the nutrition they need in the morning to do their best every day," said Superintendent Gary Mooring. "This is why Tyler ISD provides each student the opportunity to have a nutritious breakfast at no cost. Utilizing this service gives parents an easy option for making sure their children are full, focused and ready for the day," he noted.
