Wis. middle-schoolers explore compassionate leadership

Students from three middle schools in La Crosse, Wis., who focused on compassionate leadership recently took part in a workshop with author and speaker Craig Hillier. The workshop included problem solving, leadership skills and teamwork. The event was inspired by the La Crosse Compassion Project, a community art project that involves 7,000 students of all grade levels who are creating artwork that will be displayed later this year at an arts center.
