Conglomerates Have Large Stake In CBS-ABC Battle Over Letterman

David Letterman's late-night comedy show could be a gold mine for Disney, which could cross-promote the show on its myriad media properties, including ABC, ABC Family, ESPN and ESPN2. For the same reason, Viacom wants to keep Letterman at CBS. Viacom's properties include MTV, VH-1 and TNN.
