Blockbuster moves to resolve deceptive-ad lawsuits

Blockbuster is in talks with at least 37 states to negotiate an end of investigations into its "End of Late Fees" advertising campaign. States including California and New Jersey allege the video-rental giant engaged in deceptive advertising because not all franchises participated in the offer and because consumers could be forced to buy videos that weren't returned within a month.
