Pacemaker technology eyed for use on wide-ranging conditions

Researchers are looking at expanded uses of pacemaker technology beyond its primary use as a means of keeping hearts beating correctly. Pacemakers, which send focused electrical currents to targeted areas in the body, are being looked at for use in a host of conditions, including migraine headaches, epilepsy, urinary incontinence, Parkinson's disease tremors, depression and erectile dysfunction.
