New network bills itself as cable-Web hybrid

Next New Networks, a group of video Web sites founded and funded by several former executives from MTV and Nickelodeon, plans to attract viewers by offering professionally produced videos in areas of niche interest like animation, fashion, autos and more. The company hopes that advertisers will find the intensive site more attractive than the user-created environment of YouTube and other video sites.
