Starcom wins United Airlines' global media biz

Publicis Groupe's Starcom, Chicago, has won the media portion of United Airlines' estimated $100 million global ad account, in a review. Finalists included Omnicom Group's OMD and incumbent WPP Group's Mediaedge:cia, both New York. Publicis' Fallon, Minneapolis, which has handled U.S. planning and print media, did not defend.
