AMA partners with Ingenix on EHR platform for physicians

The American Medical Association has tapped Ingenix's CareTracker electronic health record system to allow doctors to evaluate and meet their practice and clinical demands by giving them secure access to products, services and data with a single sign-on. The technology, which is being tested in Michigan, "will help advance physicians' adoption of tools that will enhance care quality and improve patient safety," said Dr. Joseph M. Heyman, AMA's immediate past board chairman.
