Breast feeding is linked to less abdominal fat in mothers

A report based on health data from more than 350 middle-aged women suggests that women who breast-fed their infants may have less belly fat later in life. The study found that women who breast-fed regularly had waists that were about 2.6 inches smaller on average and carried nearly 30% less abdominal fat than women who had never breast-fed.
