Cisco Systems touted its announcement today by saying it will "change the Internet" forever. The gear maker then introduced a router, the CRS-3, designed for large ISPs. The company asserted the router supports 12 times the traffic of current models and is much speedier as well. CEO John Chambers defended the hype, saying the CRS-3 will provide the backbone for next-generation video services, which he termed "the killer app."
