Idaho mulls over high-school credits for gifted middle-school students

A proposal to allow gifted Idaho middle-school students to receive credit for taking high-school courses was approved by the state Senate Education Committee. Under the plan, students who are gifted could begin earning credits and establishing high-school transcripts. The proposal has been approved by the state House, and it heads to the full Senate.
