Online storefronts are going the sponsored ad link route

In the quest to make money, way away from direct product sales, top e-tailers are pulling sponsored ad links onto their sites. The move, according to industry watchers, is a good strategy. "Everyone is trying to figure out ways to make money off of the traffic on their site," said Sucharita Mulpuru, vice president-principal analyst at Forrester.
