Some Vietnamese teachers could receive pay increases

Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training has announced a plan to increase the minimum salaries of teachers who graduate from university. However, critics question whether it is enough for teachers to support themselves. They also are asking whether there will be higher salaries for educators teaching more advanced material or a difference in wages for teachers in rural and urban schools.
