Program brings together students, teachers and tech experts

A new program in Baltimore is aimed at connecting students, teachers and technology specialists to improve teaching and learning for all three groups. The Digital Harbor Foundation's EdTech Link program will have volunteer technology experts training teachers who will work with students in after-school programs. The students then will take their knowledge to other schools to help train teachers. With funding and other support from the community, organizers say the program has potential as a national model.
