Shakespeare "lite" whets struggling readers' interest

Atlanta-area teachers of students with lower reading skills are using study guides that translate the Elizabethan language of Shakespeare's plays into modern English. While some educators say the translations make the Bard's works more accessible, others worry that the revisions omit the writer's eloquence and poetry.
