Florida district adopts controversial music video

The Broward, Fla., school system has quietly added a diversity music video to its K-2 character education curriculum, even though diversity and curriculum screening committees had rejected the "We are Family" DVD last year for fear it could invite discussions on sexual orientation. The district will provide teachers with an activity list that leaves out controversial verbiage from the disk's original teaching materials.
