No exit exam alternative for California seniors

The California State Board of Education Wednesday rejected recommending alternatives to the high school exit exam, which becomes a graduation requirement with the class of 2006. The move means nearly 100,000 students statewide who have yet to pass the test must either do so or hope the courts provide relief.
