BofA cites rescue terms as it withdraws job offers to foreigners

Bank of America said the terms of its government rescue effectively prevent the bank from applying for H-1B visas for foreigners if the company recently laid off U.S. workers. "Recent changes in legislation made it necessary for Bank of America to rescind job offers it had made to students requiring H-1B sponsorship," a spokesman for the bank said.
