Obama nominates three to deputy Treasury posts

President Barack Obama has made three nominations to the Treasury Department, which has been plagued with a slow hiring rate since the administration took office. Obama named David S. Cohen assistant secretary in dealing with terrorist financing, Alan B. Krueger assistant secretary for economic policy, and Kim N. Wallace assistant secretary for legislative affairs. All three are currently serving as counselors to Secretary Timothy Geithner.
