Raising trout helps urban students better understand nature

Students in urban areas nationwide are learning about fish -- and, more broadly, nature -- through the Trout in the Classroom program. For three months, students help raise trout from eggs, participate in hands-on activities and listen to lectures until the fish are ready to be released into the wild.
