Report: Social nets eclipse e-mail in terms of Web visits

Visted by 67% of the world's online population, "member communities," including Facebook and MySpace, are more popular than e-mail, according to a recently released report from Nielsen Online. Other findings show one in 11 minutes spent online is on a blog or social network and more than 19% of Americans visit social network sites using their mobile phone, up nearly 156% since last year.
