Cannes fest names Facebook CEO as the year's top media person

This year's Cannes Lions Ad Festival has picked Facebook founder-CEO Mark Zuckerberg as its media person of the year. "For Mark Zuckerberg to have created one of the Internet's most dominant businesses so quickly, and to have had such a global impact on the way we all communicate with each other, is quite simply astonishing," Cannes Lions CEO Philip Thomas said in a statement.
