Caterpillar to boost generator prices to comply with new regs

Caterpillar will have to increase the price of its mobile and stationary generator sets by 25% to 50% to comply with Tier 4 interim emissions regulations that take effect Jan. 1. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency plans to roll out the next phase of its Tier 4 emissions control next year to help reduce harmful emissions.
