Experts: China represents largest untapped market for clean energy

Although China tops the list of countries responsible for producing carbon emissions, it also represents "the world's largest market for clean energy," according to a panel of experts debating the future of global energy at a conference in Houston. China's demand for electricity could grow at 6% to 7% each year for the next 20 years, according to Jone-Lin Wang, a managing director at IHS CERA.
