Illinois pilot lands safely after hitting deer

Illinois pilot John Olson managed to land his Piper Seneca after he clipped a deer and lost his landing gear. "Everything was clearing up beautifully until our little Bambi decided to cross the runway," said Olson. A pilot for 15 years, Olson and his family were returning from a weekend trip to Michigan when he hit the deer.
