Kentucky bill would create group to regulate treatment of farm animals

A bill pending in a Kentucky House committee would form a group called the Kentucky Livestock Care Standards Commission that would monitor "animal well-being and agricultural best management practices; herd health; and safe, affordable, healthy food supplies for consumers."
