South African pride march draws big crowd

A gay-pride march in the South African capital of Cape Town attracted thousands of participants, who rallied for more LGBT acceptance in Africa. Marchers called attention to an anti-gay proposal in Uganda that could impose the death penalty on those convicted of being homosexual and the imprisonment in Malawi of two men for holding a wedding ceremony.
