Florida teachers use technology to encourage class participation

Teachers at a Florida elementary school say a student-response system called Qwizdom has helped encourage student participation and track progress with immediate feedback. Teachers also say the devices, which allow students to answer questions using remote-control devices, encourage shy students to get involved and prevent students from being embarrassed when they answer a question incorrectly.
