Study projects 83% of providers may qualify for EHR incentives

Almost 83% of physician practices are likely to receive bonuses from one of the federal EHR incentive programs, but the estimated eligibility rates vary by program and specialty, according to a study in Health Affairs. Among eligible pediatricians, only 14% are expected to receive Medicare EHR reimbursements, with 47% who might qualify through Medicaid, the study notes.
