US Airways workers to receive $47M in profit sharing

After US Airways' second-most profitable year on record, employees will share in the $47 million profit-sharing windfall, the company has announced. "Thank you and congratulations to our professional team members on an outstanding 2010," CEO Doug Parker told employees. "Our customers have noticed the turnaround, and our financial results reflect these positive results." Some 23,000 employees are eligible for the profit-sharing bonus, which is the first since 2007.
