Georgia-Pacific reaches students by going social

To recruit promising college graduates, Georgia-Pacific launched a social-outreach effort. The company targeted 20 top schools by focusing on the colleges' existing online communities, and did plenty of research into social chatter at the schools. Attending real-world job fairs gave Georgia-Pacific an easy way to gauge the effectiveness of its social outreach, the company's Meg Fligg says.
