Australia encouraged to adopt free early education

An Oxford University researcher is urging Australia to follow the lead of Britain, Scandinavia and other European countries in offering free early education in order to better set up students for success in school and boost Australia's competitiveness with other developed countries. "If you want to be with the top economically successful countries in the future, you are going to need to do this," professor Edward Melhuish said.
