EPA: Best management practices rule to prevent erosion at construction job sites

The Environmental Protection Agency published on March 6 a new rule that will require the construction, housing and utility sectors to carry out "best management practices" in order to prevent erosion and harmful stormwater discharges at construction sites. The rule will apply only during the construction phase of a project. The best practices will allow better management for effluent limitations, with the final rule taking effect on May 5, according to this article.
