A variety of human foods toxic to pets

Grapes are dangerous for dogs and cats.

Veterinarian Michelle Bader reminds owners that many human foods can be toxic for pets, including yeast, grapes, raisins, xylitol and garlic. Although such foods as well as certain household items pose dangers, it's important for owners to consult a veterinarian before inducing vomiting in a pet suspected of ingesting something toxic, Dr. Bader warns.
