Study: Coffee consumption lowers diabetes risk

Studies of coffee drinkers in Sweden and Finland show drinking large amounts of coffee can significantly reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. The study found that those who drank the most coffee, upwards of 10 or more cups per day, were least likely to develop adult-onset diabetes, but nutritionists warn there are other deleterious consequences to drinking that much.
