Alaska governor leans on oil industry

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is playing hardball with the major oil companies in her state. She has raised taxes on producer profits and threatened to evict ExxonMobil from a North Slope gas field if it didn't start producing. But her stance may backfire. ConocoPhillips has announced it will scale back its Alaska investments and other major companies may leave if she goes too far.
