Fla. legislation would force hospitals to report staff ratios

Florida lawmakers for a third time will consider bills that would require hospitals to report nurse staffing levels to state regulators. Supporters say that patients should know how much hands-on care they can expect to receive and that the legislation could improve working conditions and staffing levels.
