Senate bill aims to prevent abortions of fetuses with genetic disorders

U.S. senators are launching a bipartisan effort to reduce the number of abortions when prenatal tests reveal Down syndrome and other genetic disorders. The bill would create a list of families who want to adopt such children as well as provide better genetic counseling to parents when they receive the results of these tests.
