Senate to hold hearings in light of AP report

Sens. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., and Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J., say they intend to conduct hearings following an Associated Press report that found trace amounts of drugs in the drinking water supplies of at least 24 major metropolitan areas. Rep. Allyson Schwartz, D-Pa., suggested that the Environmental Protection Agency create a national task force to look into the problem and advise Congress.
