Study compares natural, industrially produced trans fats

Industrially produced trans-fatty acids can affect cardiovascular risk factors differently than those that come from natural sources, a new European study found. "The HDL cholesterol-lowering property of TFAs seems to be specific to that from industrial sources," the researchers wrote.
