Airlines hope for summer vacations as business bookings fall

The recession has hit business air-travel bookings hard, prompting airlines to pin their hopes on summer leisure-travel bookings. Airlines are striving to persuade travelers to take a vacation while job losses are mounting and people's net worths are falling. "Everybody is wondering if there's another shoe to drop," said Rick Seaney, CEO of Farecompare.com.
